  • Mediation is a structured, voluntary process in which a neutral third party assists people engaged in a dispute to develop their own solutions.  I completed mediation training in Maryland in 2015 and am now a certified mediator with Mediation Matters in Albany, NY. I bring the skills I have developed in my mediation practice into any conflict I encounter.  My mediation practice has affirmed my conviction that the best solutions to any conflict are the ones that people develop for themselves.

  • Conflict Coaching is a process that a person involved in a dispute can engage with prior to mediation or as a substitute for mediation when other parties are unwilling or unable to mediate.  I received my initial training in October 2017 and found the practice gave me new insights on the dynamics that drive many conflicts.

  • Restorative Reflections and Restorative Circles are two processes that help individuals or groups address a harm that has been done, including criminal conduct.  At the heart of both practices is engagement--involving all parties in finding a way to make things "more right". I have led and taught others to lead Restorative Circles with teens, with adults, and with intergenerational groups.
